Gabe Rosenn is an LA based independent filmmaker and guitarist. In 2011, his film, Hot Tubs, premiered at the Santa Barbara Int’l Film Festival. The film, which Rosenn produced and directed, as well as shot and edited, explored the Santa Barbara hot tub scene of the 1970’s as depicted in Noel Young’s book, Hot Tubs. Rosenn had the book as a teenager and thought it would be a great launching point for an interesting documentary. Hot Tubs (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1764371) went on to screen at the Contemporary Arts Forum in Santa Barbara, the Nevada City Film Festival, the Henry Miller Memorial Library in Big Sur, the Bootleg Theater in LA, and at Sunset Gower NewFilmmakers LA.
